Baby-First-Smile Waiting for something that you expected will make you feel bored since it feel too long to come – including in waiting the first smile of your baby. The time for baby to launch their first-time smile will varies from one baby to another. Many parents say their baby will smile for the first time when they are between six and eight weeks old.

Other parents believe that the baby first smiled at the age of four weeks. Meanwhile, the others even have to wait for longer time until the baby is approaching the age of twelve weeks before the baby can smile.

Based on some research, baby will smile for the first time by accident. How you react to their first smile will determine whether your baby will smile again at a later time or not. Until the age of seven months your baby will smile to almost all the objects and people they have seen.

From the age of up to seven months baby start to realize that not all things and people that were seen by them are familiar with them. In this case, babies start to rein their smile. This restraint in the matter of smile is a critical step on how babies adjust themselves with the surrounding world.

Baby’s big smile that is launched when she sees you approached to her asserts that she expects a lot from your presence. On the other hand, when she does not smile at all to someone, it asserts that she doesn’t feel comfortable with the presence of that person.

In the rare case where your baby is not smiling when she had already more than three months you better consult the problem with your doctor. However, every parent must be happy when seeing their baby’s first smile. Thanks to God for this miracle.
