As a parent, we have to assure all baby tools that our baby uses are save for her, including her stroller. In spite of its color and shape, parents should also pay attention to the stroller’s safety for baby and for parents as well.
Check these safety tips on baby stroller:
- Make sure that the bottom side of the stroller is wide enough so it is not easy to flip over.
- Find the strollers that possess safety belt that can be fasten up and it is attached to the stroller frame.
- Find the kind of stroller which safety-belt is easy to be used.
- Make sure that there are the brakes in baby stroller so you can use the brakes when you want to stop the stroller.
- If there is a basket, it should be placed at the lower side in the back only on the above of back wheel.
- Make sure that the place for baby to be put on having a board that the function is to prevent baby from fallen out.
- Use the stroller if only your baby has already able to sit by herself (usually when she is 6 months old), use baby-basket or carriage before you feel sure that she is able to use stroller
- Choose a stroller that is able to be laid down flatly
- Choose a stroller that is fulfilled credibility international standard, such as ISO.
- Assure the lock mechanism on the frame works properly so that the possible of accident could be avoided.
- Check the safety belt on the stroller. It is at least having 5 lock spots.
