Honey has so many benefits for our health. But medically, honey is not suggested for baby whose age is under 1 year old. Why? Because honey potentially contains bacteria spora which is called Clostridium botulinum.

This germ or bacteria will produce toxin that can cause infant botulism illness at baby. This illness is quite serious though it is still rare.

This kind of illness will influence baby nerves system and can cause death. At baby the system of good germ is not completed yet. Actually this good germ can attack the botulisme spora and prevent it to be spread out. So, automatically, the dangerous toxin formation will not happen.

What are the symptoms of Botulism? This toxin cause muscles paralysis. Baby also can’t defecate (or the baby can suffer from diarhea and vomit), her legs and her neck are weak, she cries slowly (because her muscles are weak), she is not strong to drink milk and she also looks painful. This toxin can cause death in 24 hours.

Besides, the botulism spore can be found in foods that are half cooked. So don’t give those foods to your baby.

The creative children can solve any problems that they face with the effective way, they are not afraid in doing mistakes, they also endeavor and want to take risk until they can get the innovative idea. Parents and teacher must capable in creating supportive environment and support children to always be creative.
